Senior Research Associate

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Research Associate to join a pre-clinical organization focusing on in vivo models of human diseases located in Rockville, MD. The Senior Research Associate will perform flow cytometry and other immunological assays.

Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate include:

• Plan and perform cell-based assays of animal samples

• Conduct multicolor flow cytometric assays using spectral and conventional flow cytometry

• Follow and carry out SOPs for the operation of standard laboratory equipment

• Process blood and tissue for in vitro assays

• Analyze and interpret experimental data

Qualifications for the Senior Research Associate include:

• 5+ years of flow cytometry experience (multicolor flow - 8 colors)
• Immunoassay experience (ELISA, ELISpot, Luminex)
• Experience working with pre-clinical samples is preferred
• M.S. in Life Sciences

Compensation for the Senior Research Associate include:

• Salary/Rate Range: $35 - $40 Per Hour depending on experience
