Senior Research Associate, LNP Formulations

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, experienced scientist to join the Lipid Nanopartical (LNP) Formulations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in applying Tome's novel technologies to develop the next generation of in vivo and ex vivo therapeutics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Formulate Lipid Nanoparticles for gene editing

• Screen lipids and formulation methods for optimal delivery of programmable gene insertion cargo

• Perform and develop lipid nanoparticle analysis (DLS, Ribogreen assay, HPLC, etc.)

• Work as part of a cross-functional team, providing high quality material and scientific input to various teams within the company

• Present data within and across teams

• Contribute to project strategy and effectively manage timelines

Qualifications:

• BS (1-3 yrs.) or MS (0-2 yrs.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other related scientific discipline.

• Industry experience is preferred

• Experience using gene-editing tools is desired

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and changing environment
