Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use your advanced dashboard and visualization skills to design/develop and maintain Tableau Dashboards utilizing various data connections (SQL, Excel etc)

  • Use your technical report writing skills to design/develop, maintain and publish reports (Excel, SSRS, Power BI)

  • Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers

  • You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues

  • As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines

  • Potential travel for internal meetings (15%)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with Tableau Dashboard Development and Visualization Techniques
  • 5 years of Report Writing experience (i.e. SQL, SSRS)
  • Advanced level of experience with database query writing (SQL Statements)
  • Intermediate level of experience with SSRS
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA Degree

  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle

  • Power BI experience

This position performs work of a detailed nature to support fiscal, budget and operating analysis from multiple sources related to program performance monitoring for the Medical, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The areas of reporting include providing analysis and support to department and programmatic management, federal and other grantors on matters pertaining to program management, budget monitoring, reconciliations, compliance with state and federal requirements, federal reporting, and forecasting. Position will communicate and collaborate with department and programmatic staff, research policies and complete assignments in a timely manner with a quality work product. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: * Effective planning, organization and management; contemporary business methods, procedures and practices. * Principles of research methods and reporting techniques used in administrative studies. * Operations and programmatic structures, standards, policies, procedures, resources and priorities. * Data analysis techniques with an understanding of statistical reports; written and verbal communication skills. * Performance management principles and effective use of logic models; performance measure and change management principles and practices. Skills in: * Data analysis; identifying and analyzing organizational and procedural problems and determine effective solutions; forecasting. * Expressing ideas and information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; writing reports and making presentations. * Developing PowerPoint presentations on program content; delivering effective presentations and training. * Excel and /or Access; gathering requirements for projects; researching performance measures and standards; independent research..
