ICF is seeking a talented, highly motivated Senior Release Manager to join our ICF's Digital Modernization Division.  You will be responsible for helping the Department of Veteran's Affairs plan, manage and execute their most complex digital transformation programs.  We are looking for a Senior Release Manager who will be responsible for helping clients define their overall implementation goals and implementing technology solutions. This opportunity is contingent on contract award and can be performed remotely.

Our Digital Modernization division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client's business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Technical Implementation: Make sure that the release is planned and deployed to production, according to the requirements and budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the release activities for low-code/no-code solutions.

  • Integration Management: Assist architects in the design and integration of low-code/no-code platforms with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end processes.

  • Technical Documentation: Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected. Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies. Validate the completeness of the team's documentation of configurations, customizations, data schemas, and other technical decisions.

  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting senior developers, architects, and users during the transition period, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

  • Incident and Problem Resolution: Collaborate with support teams to provide timely resolution to incidents and problems.

  • Best Practices: Contribute to the development of ICF's best practices and standards. Adhere to security and implementation best practices and ensure that implemented solutions meet relevant compliance requirements.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest features, enhancements, and best practices to enhance the quality of implementations and maintain expertise in platforms such as SalesForce, Microsoft Power Apps, Appian, and Pega. Continue certification and training process to meet Practice standards and growth areas and contribute to the continued success of the team.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release. Work closely with project managers, other implementation specialists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless releases.

  • Corporate Growth: Support the development of client roadmaps and solution demonstrations to identify and foster new opportunities for ICF services/ Although not required, it is encouraged to support proposals ("bids") for new opportunities, including oral presentations and written technical proposals.

What you must have:

  • 5 or more years of experience and depth of understanding of an enterprise level platform such as SalesForce, Microsoft Power Apps, Appian,or Pega and application release synchronous and on-demand (Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) release cycles for a diverse technology platform and product ecosystem with large scale deployments.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls,, face-to-face)

  • 3 or more years of experience working with an Agile implementation framework.

  • 3 or more years of Demonstrated professional success in configuration, release, and deployment functional areas using the Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • 2-3 years of project management experience

  • 1 or more years of experience Administration of a SalesForce instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience is a plus.

  • Experience in tools and technologies, such as JIRA/Confluence Github, ELK Stack, Bamboo/Jenkins, Codescan, SIEM, GRC, Splunk, Copado, Provar, Eggplant, Commvalt/Capstorm, and Colibra.

  • Must reside in the United States

  • BS in information systems, computer science, or related field.

  • US Citizenship or Green Card required.

  • Currently possess or have ability to obtain a VA Public Clearance

What would be a nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience at the VA or previous military experience is desirable.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles

  • Detail-oriented tendencies with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities/

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$102,285.00 - $173,884.00
