What you'll do:

The AAB Relationship Banker II is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients consisting of property management companies and self-managed communities. They will be knowledgeable of HOA treasury management products and services offered to management companies, as well as how AAB integrates those products with the management company's software. The Banker II will train clients and junior bankers how to use bank products as well as provide troubleshooting and assistance with client's software and integration. They will provide excellent customer service, accurate information, build client trust, and navigate challenging situations and tasks.

What we are looking for:

  • Account opening and closing, including but not limited to CDARS, ICS, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Checking and Money Market accounts.

  • Maintains strong understanding of all HOA bank products and services provided to AAB clients and integrations to clients' external accounting software.

  • Collaborate with AAB Sales to build trust and enhance the customer relationship by identifying, recommending, and delivering bank treasury management products/service opportunities in support of customer and business line profitability and bank deposit goals.

  • Utilize all AAB resources to assist clients with account/payment research and lockbox inquiries.

  • Utilize daily reports to ensure that insufficient funds and non-posted transactions are processed following established procedures by expected deadlines.

  • Provide in-depth client training on all bank products, such as online banking, positive pay, ACH, and various bank portals.

  • Collaborate in a team structure and assist other members of the team to balance workload, actively driving the team to achieve performance goals.

  • Assist Client Success, Sales, and Client Transition team with association transitions between management companies.

  • Utilize systems and tracking tools to remain organized, ensure completion of all requests, and deliver exceptional client experiences. Strong task management and professionalism is essential.

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of related federal banking regulations and bank policies/procedures. Utilize this knowledge to ensure compliance and mitigate associated risks for both the client and bank.

  • Actively participate in bank training and demonstrate retention of learned knowledge.

  • Participate in team projects, as assigned.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required plus 1+ years of related experience in retail, commercial banking or treasury management services, or 2+ years of related experience in retail, commercial, HOA banking, or treasury management services.

  • 2+ years of HOA experience in Relationship Banker I role or comparable level position.

  • Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of HOA management companies integrated technologies and ability to handle a medium to large client portfolio.

  • A self-starter and collaborative teammate with excellent problem-solving skills. Proactive in understanding the root of an issue and collaborating to consider a wide range of solutions before moving forward.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and thoughts with clarity, confidence, and respectfulness.

  • Strong knowledge of general banking, including an understanding of bank products, services, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Must be flexible and adapt quickly to change, displaying a strong openness to feedback and continuous learning.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and remain organized.

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
