Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Title IV-E and Medicaid Supervisor. Under administrative direction, this position will manage and direct the operations of the Department's Title IV-E and Medicaid programs on a statewide basis.
The position will direct, coordinate, and provide oversight to subordinate supervisors regarding the activities of staff responsible for the determination of eligibility for Title IV-E, Medicaid, TANF-Emergency Assistance, Long Term Care, and COBRA. This position provides a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in playing a role in ensuring the appropriate application of federal benefit programs in the course of the Department's operations. Job Responsibilities
1.Serves as Senior Reimbursement Officer
2.Serves as working supervisor
3.Analyzes quality and production to ensure that eligibility determination work meets the unit's quality standards
4.Plans and implements work requirements work
5.Revises EDU forms
6.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
1.Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with courses in accounting, economics, or business administration
2.Requires two years of professional work experience in the reimbursement field
