The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare accurate and timely cost reports for assigned facilities.

Job FunctionsAs Senior Reimbursement Analyst, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. This position is responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely cost reports for assigned facilities. This position is a non-supervisory function. Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for assigned facilities.Represent the company during audits of these reports.Develop rate-setting models based on cost report information and update those models on an as needed basis.Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to help department increase efficiency.Continually monitor changes in regulations and methodology to ensure assigned states receive appropriate payment for services rendered.Provide summary of results to department management on an as-needed basis.Other duties as reasonably related and assigned.Assist with various audits, including the annual financial audit and various government audits.Embrace Consulate's five core values of compassion, honesty, integrity, respect and passion, and incorporate them into one's daily job function.Demonstrate respect and compassion in every interaction.Conduct oneself with the highest degree of honesty and integrity in every interaction.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Education

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; a business degree with a major in Accounting preferred.

  • Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.

Experience

  • Four (4) years of Professional Accounting experience preferably in a health care environment.

Specific Requirements

  • Advanced Knowledge of automated general ledger systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills Advanced Access skills and familiarity with Word and Outlook preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others.
