The Global Market Development team is responsible for finding and evaluating regulatory market opportunities globally. Internally, the team works cross functionally with other business units in all markets to provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership on key regulatory and policy issues.

The introduction of disruptive technologies like electric, hydrogen and autonomous vehicles, blockchain and Transport-as-a-Service will transform transportation in the coming years. The regulatory environment of transportation is changing in step. The Global Market Development team is in the thick of it, working on behalf of customers with policy makers, regulators, enforcement and industry associations to develop intuitive, easy to use, comprehensive solutions that will lead to improved safety, productivity and environmental outcomes.

To achieve this, we need to understand the global transportation problems and trends in full. We need to understand regulations in detail but also work with our stakeholders to ensure that the solution will be mutually beneficial for all parties involved

The Senior Regulatory Analyst has a has a strong focus on analysing regulatory environments, trends and regimes. Another part of this role is to manage regulatory market development projects, such as Road Charge Pilot projects or product approvals.

Sitting within the Global Market Development team, the Senior Regulatory Analyst will work with several internal teams including in-market team, engineering and product.

The right individual for this position will have a good technical acumen, can multi-task in a fast-paced environment and has experience providing support to senior level management. The preferred candidate will demonstrate experience and working knowledge of technology implementation, transportation and Software-as-a-Service environments and regimes, as well as project management.

You will be responsible for scoping, managing and coordinating approved projects and efforts independently, with oversight from SVP, Global Market Development. You will also be responsible for identifying possible projects and contributing to developing the Global Market Development work programme.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in analysis, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, public policy, legislative and/or operational support in the transportation, tolling and technology industry.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • BS or BA degree or higher preferred.
  • Expert use of Microsoft tools (Office) and exposure to digital platforms.
