We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned audio professional to join us in New York. In this role you will bring sound to life within multimedia projects to create and promote engaging content such as; exclusive music and live performances, hosted stations, artist and internal interviews, and social media. In addition to managing our in-office recording studio, you will work with our on-site content team on projects for location sound and post production. The content created drives new users to Pandora, as well as expanding listening experiences for our existing users.
We are looking for someone who can overcome creative obstacles in a deadline driven environment while remaining pleasant, focused and inventive.
Manage in-office recording studio
Work with on-site content team for artist visits and various production needs
Edit, mix and master music recordings (when applicable)
Organize, archive and manage assets; transferring to client/artist/etc...
Attend to client/artists needs and adjust to new project specifications and deadlines
Proactively analyze and resolve studio technical issues
Provide suggestions and implement new gear and technical studio improvements
Repair, design, develop and finalize various audio deliverables
Sound design, music composition, edit, mix and finalize audio for video, station and promotional content
Provide voice casting solutions utilizing Pandora's internal VO Roster and external resources
Contribute creative solutions from capture to post
Independently attend to production schedules and project deadlines
5+ years experience in recording studio environment, with emphasis on music and dialogue
2+ years experience in post audio, with emphasis on music and dialogue
Expert knowledge of editing, mixing and optimizing audio within DAWs including Logic and Pro Tools
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, with experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to take direction and adjust and improve upon feedback
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable to new workflows
Friendly manner with clients, artists and colleagues
