Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Senior Receptionist in Worcester.

The Worcester Counseling Center provides integrated behavioral health and primary care services to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, a wellness program, and behavioral health. The Worcester Counseling Center also offers specialized substance addiction treatment and Open Access services. Our medication assisted treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment. We also have specialized services for individuals experiencing psychotic symptoms for the first time, and for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Senior Receptionist provides administrative support to consumers and staff of our integrated outpatient community behavioral health centers.

Provide administrative support to consumers and staff of our integrated outpatient community behavioral health and primary care centers.

The Senior Receptionist provides administrative support to consumers and staff of our integrated outpatient community behavioral health centers.


  • Greet clients

  • Perform check-in and check-out with clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, entering information on lapsed insurance/new insurance, collecting co-pays and balances due and providing receipts, submitting cash sheets, updating client demographics, notifying staff that client is checked in

  • Schedule client appointments

  • Enter and make changes to staff schedules

  • Answer calls and emails and respond to messages

  • Complete referrals to specialists

  • Complete daily reminder calls

  • Complete prior authorizations

  • Complete PT1s

  • Transfer and close cases in the electronic medical record

  • Send and distribute faxes and mail

  • Work as a member of the support team

  • Scan documents into the electronic medical record

  • Assist doctors and clinicians with letters and referrals

  • Maintain calendars, professional meetings, vacations, conferences, etc

  • Perform other related job duties

  • Grade 5: Senior Receptionist: Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED/HiSet required; Associates degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience

  • Advanced computer skills, including use of an electronic medical record

  • Strong commitment to customer service

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Ability to use office equipment, including copy machines, computers, printers, telephones and four drawer vertical filing cabinets.

  • Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines

  • Excellent oral communication skills

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desired

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check

The incumbent is responsible for providing requested assistance and coordination of activities for all BA / SA Abrasives sites worldwide, with specific focus on projects in NAM. The incumbent utilizes his/her discretion to involve the other site plant managers and appropriate engineers, both in the plants and in R & D, as needed in order to leverage expertise and best practices to move strategic projects related to process development forward. This would include the incumbent along with his/her choice of additional plant resources conducting in-house testing within the plants for new processes and equipment, requiring the involvement of R&D resources where needed; The incumbent may carry out plant audits to identify opportunities for improved performance and capacity; recommendations on equipment needs; provide technical expertise related to solving quality and scrap issues; and development of useful benchmarking criteria. The incumbent is also involved in the sharing of best practices among plants. The incumbent will also develop and coordinate teams focused on various intermediate projects and programs, in order to achieve operational excellence in terms of product consistency and efficiency. Required Qualifications * A broad based manufacturing and engineering background, gained by 5-10 years of manufacturing experience within Abrasives. * A strong understanding of all abrasive products and their uses is also required. The incumbent should bring a passion for quality and continuous improvement to the position. * They should possess a familiarity with the tools of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing as well as problem solving (process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical process control, etc.) * The incumbent must have the ability to work independently with little direction and effectively deal with all levels of the organization from the Branch President to the shop floor. * The incumbent must be able to outline broad issues, develop plans, and communicate and persuade acceptance of plans within the BA / SA SOA. * The incumbent must develop strong working relationships within the business both up and down in order to achieve results as the incumbents authority derives from experience and expertise versus positional authority. * The incumbent is also provide with strong leadership, which is necessary to drive all the teams to the right technical choices. * Ownership of specific WCM tools (EEM pillar) is a key factor to give each project the right structure. Additional Description Principal End Results: Define together with the Industial direction the industrial roadmap and leads the development of strategic projects related to key product categories. Provide the key coordination of activities between plants, R&D, and potential suppliers as new processes and equipment are defined and tested. These projects will include the development of new manufacturing processing as well as new equipment concepts and designs geared toward productivity and quality improvements . Additional projects will focus on the development of new tools and equipment to improve the measurement of our product quality and consistency and ensure we deliver products which meet and exceed all safety standards. The incumbent coordinates the project starting from the concept / designin phase up to the full industrialization and follow-up, following precise methodology. The incumbent also has full accountability and direct management of given projects.
