MOVO Capital LLC is a new real estate investment firm seeking young, hungry real estate specialists who are looking to benefit from a start ups room to grow and at the same time receive the benefits of enterprise capital.

With over 30 Million in unleveraged capital to start our fund we are looking for a real estate superstar that can built an all star team to manage our real estate acquisitions in the New York and NJ area. Our plans are to built a fund of 300 million dollars in the next 5 years once we start utilizing leverage against our purchases.

Our focus is mainly on acquiring duplexes to 4 plex properties. This opportunity includes a 6 figure salary and equity in our real estate acquisitions.

Employee will work as a 1 man team, we will provide an office at one of our coworking locations. Once enough employees are hired we will build out a dedicated office.

Job Details

  1. Manage data entry personnel that will scrape various sources for new listing (MLS, Zillow, Trulio, etc..)

  2. Perform deal analysis using comprehensive models to determine deal feasibility

  3. Recruit and Manage all relevant parties to guide a deal from inception to closing (Contractors, inspectors, attorneys, real estate agents, property managers, bookkeepers)

  4. Research new tools and softwares to gain insights on market trends

  5. evaluate retail properties financial income and expense and discounted cash flows in Excel, and assist in the underwriting development analysis for new properties.

  6. Attend various networking event to built relationships with brokers, bankers, contractors and all other parties that will propel the company forward

Requirements

  1. Experience in running various financial models and evaluating deal profitability

  2. Experience in Recruiting managing real estate acquisition teams

  3. Track record of success

  4. Financial modeling, Excel Wizard

  5. Technology savvy (CRM systems, PM systems)

  6. Social skills, Leadership ability

  7. Experience with Argus is a Plus

Key Roles and Responsibilities: * Supporting the Project Management team in overall planning, coordination, and control of high profile projects from inception to completion aimed at meeting the projects requirements in order to produce functionally and financially viable results * Efficiently Communicate project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to the project team and management * Assist in coordinating project management efforts including cost management and scheduling efforts to align with project execution plans * Assist in developing and maintaining a repository of complete project data and documentation * Processes documentation for project commitments (i.e. Agreements, Contracts, Work Authorizations, Purchase Orders). * Ensure project timelines and commitments are consistently met * Assist with the management of project administration deliverables (i.e. meeting minutes; budget tracking; schedule updates; move management; closeout). * Interact with various functional teams (vendor maintenance, project accounting, technology, accounts payable, etc) to identify opportunities to leverage best practices across the team and to troubleshoot any issues with assigned projects * Complete analytics and reporting for daily team duties, as well as ad hoc requests and projects * Evaluate and understand business needs in order to best align real estate requirements * Participate and engage in team/function meetings and events The expectation is that the analyst will have a strong interest in design and construction and / or project management, possess well developed written and quantitative analytic skills, and will possess a level of intellectual curiosity which will cause the analyst to challenge his/her manager(s) to share their professional knowledge and experience continuously.
