The Senior Quality Repair Engineer UBIF will be responsible for overseeing Samsung Mobile Products and providing best in class experience to our customers, directly through the UBreakIFix locations and relationships. The Senior Quality Repair Engineer UBIF will define and implement processes for deep-dive analysis, resolving issues and will be responsible for driving necessary resources for successful completion or resolution. Responsibilities will include specification working with internal engineering team, device quality team, Korean Headquarters, and customers for quality management and ongoing improvements.

Essential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):
1.The Senior Quality Repair Engineer will work with FTS (Field Technical Support) to monitor repair quality of the UBIF stores2. Performs and analyzes on-site audits for repair quality at UBIF stores3. Implements statistical process controls/processes into the UBIF operation to drive sustainable improvement / Validate impact and effectiveness of the corrective actions / trains quality documents and enforce training and certification4. In collaboration with engineering team, manages the FAI (first article inspection) for new product launches5. Performs deep dive bounce devices analysis and provide the results / interacts with all levels within service department to identify root cause and corrective actions for issues detected6. Manages device samples sent to HQ and follow up the analysis results7. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Arts Degree
Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage): 5+ years technical mobile phone repair experience with the ability to lead others 3+ years' management, leadership directing employee's daily work activities Proven ability to coach and course correct for results Proven extreme detail oriented to recognize accuracies and inaccuracies / to report results Proven experience planning, monitoring and managing departmental budget. Proven experience documenting SOP and reporting trends.
