The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,000 - $200,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will do in This Role:
Develop and implement strategy with Quality leadership team
Work with Quality leadership to develop the hiring and training plan for new team members
Drive improvements to the project Quality assessments process
Drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions from project variance root cause analysis sessions
Work closely with Product Launch Quality to provide current lessons learned
Drive a culture of "Owning Outcomes, Linking the System, and Driving Prevention"
Metric communication
Partner with business unit leaders to drive improvements
Travel to sites, as needed, to see issues firsthand and increase partnership other leaders
What We are Looking For:
Minimum of 10 years management experience in similar role with Bachelor's Degree, or minimum of 15 years of experience in similar role without a Bachelor's Degree
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred
Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Manager of Quality/Organization Excellence strongly preferred
Project Management experience preferred
Strong ability to write and produce technical reports and ability to oversee internal and external quality audits
Strong skills in quality improvement techniques (i.e. RCA, A3, 8D)
Strong ability to develop technical skills of less experienced colleagues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong capabilities in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong experience analyzing data using statistical tools, such as Minitab
Able to understand, interpret, and recommend GD&T updates
Experience utilizing and improving Quality tools such as, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, and Inspection Plans
Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25%)
