Position Overview
The Quality Control Analyst, ensures that deal parameters are accurately and efficiently reflected in the administration system upon initial set-up as well as revisions. Serves as liaison between US Operations functional departments, other internal RGA Re functional areas, and RGA external clients. Works independently and with teams to identify data quality issues and develop methods to avoid such issues in future processing.
Responsibilities
Acts as subject matter expert and instructs others in new business process understanding/set up. Acts as information resource regarding new business administrative requirements to stakeholders and other quality assurance representatives at RGA Re.
Ensures the Administrative set up is in accord with the treaty parameters agreed to between the Client Company and RGA Re. Ensure structure is in place to identify instances where material differences appear.
Researches daily GARe Work Que Validation Errors to determine if treaty or plan code descriptions are already known to RGA Re, or if client communication is required. Interacts directly with client and coordinates between other departments within US Division to ensure that client data is understood
Conducts Internal Administration Statement Processing Audits to confirm statement processing followed established written standards.
Analyzes, interprets and compiles information USIL recapture activity including collaboration with Pricing Risk Management.
Conducts other client company data analysis as assigned and communicates with Client Company when material data issues need to be resolved.
Acts as project coordinator for Company Migrations

Basic knowledge of accounting
Ability to read and interpret treaty language, and to apply it appropriate
Intermediate understanding of life products and reinsurance administration
Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge
Intermediate investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions
