DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES: General Function:
To provide technical service and immediate attention to the customers, to ensure the CSR are implemented, maintained and adhered to in such a manner as to ensure that customer expectations are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Active participation in Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) as voice of the customers in assigned areas.
Act as Customer liaison. Communicate containment and corrective actions to the customer using the applicable method (i.e. G8Ds, PRR, NCT, eCIMS, SCAR, F-M TiPS).
Coordinate special containment activities at the customer site and follow up on results until permanent corrective action validation.
Initiate and lead a cross-functional team to effectively identify root cause analysis on all external problems. Conduct corrective action follow-up, as well as lessons learned read-across on similar processes/products.
Analyzing and summarizing warranty data and manage warranty portals.
Daily review of Customer specific websites (Covisint, GM Supply Power, Chrysler eSupplier Connect, PLEX). Identity and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
Daily review and update of quality QMIs system.
Active participation on Internal, Customer and IATF16949 Audits.
Lead customer Audits and visits. Conduct corrective action follow-up after a customer audit.
Visit customers plants on a regular basis and manage F-M representatives at customers locations.
May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager

Bachelor's Degree in related field or 5+ years experience in quality related field

Mandatory experience must be in a manufacturing environment. Must have IATF 16949 experience.
A thorough understanding of core tools and Specific Customer Requirements. Minitab Statistical Software Preferred but not Required.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to work well with customers and other engineers and operators. Must have a thorough understanding of problem solving methodologies (G8D, PRR, 7 Step, 3L5W, Deep Drill and Wide). Must be familiar with Microsoft computer platforms and software.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to train/teach others.
Ability to obtain ASQC Certificate
