The Opportunity:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer position will ensure the implementation of the Organization IQMS across all the processes of the project's life cycle by the Project Team members and by main Suppliers and Contractors. The position will also disseminate the Organization Knowledge Asset (policy, procedures, work instructions, lesson learned, outcome of audits, continuous improvement activities) to all the members of the Project Team appointed for a specific project while performing his/her duties into the team.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, while consulting with the Head of Global Unit, will be interfacing with the representatives of all the other Units/Functions of the Organization for any cross activity in its Country (disseminations, sharing knowledge, administrative management issues, etc.).

Responsibilities

Development Stage: - Assure the effective implementation of the Company's Quality Management system with team members by preparing the Project Quality Plan to be followed during the execution of the activities; - Organize periodic quality meetings with the team members to verify the deliverables of the processes; - Measure Quality KPIs and share them with the team members in order to analyze the impact on the project's objectives and define the corrective actions; - Provide input for CAPEX estimation limited to the Quality Assurance activities to be carried out during the Execution phase (cost of internal personnel, travels for checking the implementation of the quality management system by Contractors/Suppliers, costs for second parties Audits performed by external service providers); - Support team members during the RFPs process by preparing the documentation to be included in the RFPs package and by contributing in the technical evaluation of the offers (limited to the assurance of a proper quality management system by the Bidders); Execution Phase: - Assuring the effective implementation of the Organization Quality Management system by team members by preparing the Project Quality Plan to be followed during the execution of the activities; - Assuring the effective implementation of the Organization create shared value model by team members; - Assuring the completeness and accuracy of Quality management documentation provided by the Contractors/Suppliers prior the execution of the work (Quality Plans, ITPs and QCPs ), oversee and monitor the validation of these documents by the relevant team members (for their field of expertise); - Control the effective implementation of the quality management system by main Suppliers/Contractors while performing the works by means of second party audits (directly performed by the position or supported by third party or independently), assess any non-conforming identified from the audits (by defining corrective actions with the Project Team members) up to their resolution. Responsibilities, include, but not limited to: - Maintain and update the NCs Register and oversee resolution of NCs; lead the organization of root cause analysis with the Project Team members in order to evaluate the need for action to eliminate the causes in order that it doesn't not recur anymore; - Maintain and update the Job Book (GRE and the ones of the main Contractors/Suppliers), by assuring that all the Project Team members provide the reports for which they are responsible for and make periodical checking on its completeness; - Organize Quality meetings with the team members for verifying the proper implementation of the processes for producing the deliverables, report/analyze findings of second parties audits performed to the Contractors/Suppliers, to assess the status of the NCs (revising the closing dates based on the progress of the Works), assess the status of the Contractors/Suppliers Quality Plan and its Annexes validation (revising the deadlines based on the progress of the works and assuring that the deliverables will be available to the relevant Unit in charge of the Quality Inspections & Tests); - Support the team members during the RFPs process by preparing the documentation to be included in the RFPs package and by contributing in the technical evaluation of the offers (limited to the assurance of a proper quality management system by the bidders); - Measure Quality KPIs and share them with the team members in order to analyze the impact on the project's objectives and define the corrective actions; - Gather Lessons Learned during Project Execution, consulting with the Project Team members, discussing and reaching consensus on the validity of the Lessons Learned; - Support activities of HSEQ unit to organize, perform and manage the findings for I party (internal) and third party audits; - Collect and consolidate all the feedbacks for improving processes gathered at the country level and provide them to the Head of the Global Units for further analysis; - Arrange high level meetings with the Quality Representatives of the local Contractors/Suppliers for sharing main company expectation with terms of quality and to disseminate new Quality requirements (activity not related to a specific project; it is a cross high level activity); - Arrange meetings with the main representatives of other unit/function representatives for discussing the KPIs, LLs, NCs of the portfolio in the country/area, analyze root-cause and define local/global corrective actions.

What You'll Do at Enel:

Qualifications

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering or similar technical field (Electrical or Mechanical); MS a plus;

  • 5-7 years of related experience;

  • Experience in renewable construction industry (departments of Quality, Construction and/or Engineering), preferred;

  • Applicable knowledge/certification of Quality Management System standard;

  • Knowledge of renewable energy production plants, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) processes;

  • SharePoint and/or other documentation management system;

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is an important role reporting to the Senior Manager, IoT Platform and will be responsible for taking ownership of our internal testing framework and additionally maintain and improve its capabilities to support Watts Smart & Connected Product Strategy. The primary objective of the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is taking ownership of our internal test framework and additionally maintain and improve its capabilities. Responsible to design and develop performance tests, automated integration tests for connected products or solutions, execute tests, trouble-shoot defects, and working with individual development teams to resolve issues. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading hard goods organization as we enter the world of connected products. Watts Water Technologies has been leading the water safety and conservation effort since 1874 and continue to invest in technology to move the needle. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Develop, maintain, and support post-deployment automated AD B2B & B2C tests using a scalable framework. * Facilitate automated deployments in both QA, staging and production environments. * Maximize automation and minimize manual testing by utilizing modern software development best practices and cutting-edge testing frameworks. * Possess a 'Shift-Left' QA mentality where Quality is shared and owned at all SDLC stages. * Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional test cases for thorough coverage of features. * Identify test conditions, both positive and negative, from User Stories, Product Backlog Items, and other requirements documents. * Assist in testing and de-bugging during pre-deployment and post-deployment stages. * Coach team members on technical concepts and implementations. * Research, recommend, and implement tools for test automation. * Identify improvements opportunities (proactive and reactive) * Perform full stack integration testing within our continuous integration/ continuous testing/ continuous deployment pipeline. * Work with individual development teams to resolve issues identified. * May occasionally need to manage temporary contractors or 3rd party services related to Cloud Ops * Assists with special projects or other duties as assigned.
