This Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Researching and identifying the requirements of information system programmatic needs.

  • Analyzing vendor and internally developed solutions to meet the integrated needs of multiple project teams.

  • Developing test plans, test strategies, test cases for software development projects.

  • Working closely with multiple application development teams ensuring quality of the software applications; reporting to the application development lead/manager.

  • Effectively managing the testing of multiple projects and address competing priorities.

  • Creating all necessary documentation for the testing and release process.

In order to qualify you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or its equivalent.

  • 5+ years' experience in software quality assurance of desktop, web/mobile apps developed using Microsoft .Net, Java.

  • The ability to develop, modify and execute software test plans, test cases.

  • The ability to analyze test results to ensure correct functionality and recommend corrective action.

  • Experience in agile development environment testing enterprise level applications.

  • Strong RDBMS concepts, with working experience on Oracle and/or SQL Server in writing complex queries and validating the results.

  • Experience in testing applications that are designed with service oriented architecture (SOA) and web services.

  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of latest software development technologies/trends to improve software QA process.

  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Software Testing Lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of bug life cycle and bug tracking tools like TFS, ALM, Jira & Bugzilla etc.

  • Prior experience in HP Unified Functional Tester (UFT), LeanFT or Selenium automation is necessary.

  • Experience in continuous integration and development of tests is a plus.

  • Java or C# experience within an automated environment is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in business intelligence tools like MicroStrategy, data analytics, enterprise reporting is a strong plus.

  • Experience in healthcare industry is a plus.

The individual will focus on improving the quality of our products and will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of our test infrastructure. The candidate will contribute directly to the success of an innovative cloud based unmanned aerial and autonomous flight operations ecosystem. Essential Responsibilities: Your job will be to help automate our testing effort with supplemental manual testing as required, innovate novel ways to minimize the sources of errors and problems within our systems, and partner with developers to help them avoid introducing new bugs into the code base. You will partner closely with our flight team to come up with software/hardware integration solutions and then test them out in the field. As part of a cross-disciplinary software engineering team be engaged in the development of a commercial system that will service multiple customers who seek to employ aerial autonomous systems in a variety of industry sectors. You and your fellow engineering team members will coordinate efforts with other teams with complementary expertise. Excel in an environment that emphasizes strong collaboration between engineering teams, product/business managers, end users, and internal/external partners. In This Role you will: Build an Integrated testing and quality assurance framework for software systems Establish processes, guidelines, and metrics for consistent and accurate assessment of quality Support the selection and configuration of tools to enable efficiency and scalability of testing Ensure adherence to quality practices by the engineering team Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system. Serve as a key driver in defining and guiding the process of quality software releases at a rapid pace Conduct research on emerging technologies.
