Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs.
Serves as day-to-day subject matter expert and point of contact for eONE testing on one or more scrum teams and/or partner groups. May coordinate release testing calendar, handle test environment planning, provide input to tollgates. Provides input to feature and user story test data requirements for one or more eONE scrum teams and work with data manager to acquire and load required data to the applicable test environments. Designs, writes and executes test cases and scripts as needed for one or more scrum teams.
Primary responsibilities for the eONE program include:
Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation and conduct of quality assurance reviews
Understand development user stories, requirements and design in order to build proper quality assurance (QA) strategy and design the appropriate test scripts
Develops and executes test plans and test scripts for both front-end and back-end processes
Works with client and test management to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process
Leads testing discussion with partners to resolve testing challenges and provide solutions to complex test problems
Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents
Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems
Logs, tracks, triages and verifies resolution of software and specification defects
Identify testing defect dependencies and related impact, and act as escalation point for lower-environment defects
Documents all phases of Quality Assurance process and ensures traceability
Emphasizes test automation and seeks solutions that facilitate automation adoption
Quickly adopts iterative improvements to testing process and seeks to innovate testing approach
May provide mentoring and direction to offshore testing team and/or less experienced staff

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) testing
Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools
Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): all phases and types of testing
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: test planning and executing in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: unit, integration, and system testing

3+ years of Agile experience
Experience creating and executing test scripts

Experience with Ab Initio or other ETL tools
Experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Other Desired Qualifications
Testing Java, Internet & Intranet based applications experience
Experience testing Data warehouse & Datamart projects
Ability to create test plans, test design, test scripts
Knowledge of UNIX Environment to understand scripts, FTP Files, logs files & error files
Experience with Oracle Databases, SQL queries, procedures, functions, and packages
Experience working on Bank Financial Reconciliation tools is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
