Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your expertise in both software development and testing will be essential for delivering high-quality solutions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to achieve our quality goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both front-end and back-end development, leveraging technologies such as React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, databases, and cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, test suites, and test scripts.

• Perform end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression testing across front-end and back-end components.

• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development process.

• Investigate and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in software development or software testing.

• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Strong understanding of both front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js, Spingboot, python) development.

• Familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases and validations.

• Proficiency in experience with unit testing, automated testing tools and frameworks for frontend and backend: Cypress, WebbriderIO, Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Jasmine, AVA, Pytest, unittest, Junit, Spring Boot Test, Mockito

• Pruriency on performance testing tools for frontend and backend: Selenium, SiteSpeed.io, Light House, etc. , K6, JMeter, Gatling, Locust.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and setting up/using the CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
