Dewberry is currently seeking a proposal coordinator for proposal efforts based in the thriving Raleigh office. This position requires four to five years background in the A/E/C industry and will be a part of a collaborative team of marketers and business development professionals with resources to support this position's success.
Develop proposal responses both collaboratively with marketing pursuit manager as well as being empowered to develop responses on your own.
Responsible for a variety of proposal types including state and local proposals and qualification packages, and assisting in oral presentations.
Lead event planning for a variety of conferences throughout North Carolina and the nation, including assessment of event return-on-investment.
Prepare marketing collateral including brochures, leave behinds, and other marketing materials.
Support business development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
Record information in customer relationship management database (CRM).
Support marketing in day-to-day efforts.
Required Skills & Required Experience
BA or BS in liberal arts, marketing, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience personally developing and producing proposals.
Effective proposal coordination skills, including planning, organization, communication, and resource management skills.
Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
Experience with state/local proposal formats.
Must have Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills. Customer relationship management database experience is also desired.
Ability to work within InDesign templates and comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to manage time appropriately. Must be available to work overtime as necessary in order to meet business requirements.
