Dewberry is currently seeking a proposal coordinator for proposal efforts based in the thriving Raleigh office. This position requires four to five years background in the A/E/C industry and will be a part of a collaborative team of marketers and business development professionals with resources to support this position's success.


  • Develop proposal responses both collaboratively with marketing pursuit manager as well as being empowered to develop responses on your own.

  • Responsible for a variety of proposal types including state and local proposals and qualification packages, and assisting in oral presentations.

  • Lead event planning for a variety of conferences throughout North Carolina and the nation, including assessment of event return-on-investment.

  • Prepare marketing collateral including brochures, leave behinds, and other marketing materials.

  • Support business development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.

  • Record information in customer relationship management database (CRM).

  • Support marketing in day-to-day efforts.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BA or BS in liberal arts, marketing, or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience personally developing and producing proposals.

  • Effective proposal coordination skills, including planning, organization, communication, and resource management skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

  • Experience with state/local proposal formats.

  • Must have Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills. Customer relationship management database experience is also desired.

  • Ability to work within InDesign templates and comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Ability to manage time appropriately. Must be available to work overtime as necessary in order to meet business requirements.
