Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive for our Commercial Lines team in Roseland, NJ.

The Senior Account Executive will handle all client matters with regard to preparation of marketing proposals and renewal material for potentially new accounts and existing Agency accounts in the Commercial Lines department.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Identify areas of inefficiencies and develop ongoing training plans for technician teammates incorporating the use of internal and external resources

  • Supervise, train, and develop the capabilities of the team in a manner that enhances their professional development and the profit center's level of service to clients

  • Review and prepare monthly analyses to measure teammates progress in achieving unit objectives

  • Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to

  • Establish, cultivate and manage customer relations with clients and ensure matters are tended to in relation to the assigned book of business

  • Work with Commercial Lines Leader, Unit Leader, and Producers to ensure completion of all renewals, including meeting attendance

  • Manage renewal process in obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers

  • Conduct and assemble in draft and final form all accurate marketing proposals

  • Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena

  • Daily contact with insurance carriers

  • Manage inquiries and complaints regarding carrier claims resolution and act as liaison on behalf of assigned accounts to intervene with delays in claim processing

  • Investigate research and provide timely responses to all clients

  • Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource

  • Attend all departmental service meetings

  • Assist with training of new Producers and Group marketing Representatives

  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.

  • Promote teamwork, support, and a positive attitude in the office and with other coworkers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred and/or extensive marketing experience

  • High School diploma, required

  • NJ Property & Casualty Producer License required

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.

  • Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)

  • 5+ year's functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level is preferred
