Senior Project Scheduler (Moving I-4 Forward)

The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL.

As part of this team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by analyzing prospective (forecasting) and retrospective (forensic) schedule reports and identifying and providing recommendations on process improvement opportunities for future projects; creating and monitoring schedules for large-scale and/or highly complex projects and identifying schedule drivers, risks, and opportunities; incorporating change orders and/or claims to critical path method (CPM); preparing procedures and guidelines for scheduling management and control; coordinating with procurement team(s) to track and ensure material lead times are incorporated into the project plans; playing a key role in the development and implementation of innovative planning and scheduling techniques and methods; and providing quality assurance and technical guidance and assigning tasks to junior and support staff for project duration.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or cost management and seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Have experience in heavy construction and advanced proficiency in creating and/or reviewing complex schedules.

• Have extensive experience working with P6, Deltek Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling tools.

• Have proven experience leading and/or guiding the work of junior staff.

• Possess strong organization, problem solving, prioritization, and oral and written communications skills.

• Possess the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
