  • delighting our customers through an enhanced experience
  • driving out productivity improvements to reduce operating cost

In order to achieve this we will be continuing to develop or replace our legacy and 3rd party applications with either ASOS or vendor provisioned software and services as appropriate

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong Senior Project Manager to be based on Berlin and join our Warehouse Technology Platform as we embark on our Delivery phase

What you'll be doing:

As Senior Project Manager within Supply Chain Technology, you will contribute to delivering the required volumes of change in our Berlin warehouse. You will join our existing Project Management team, working closely with our Architects, Development Teams, 3rd Party Vendors, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Testers and Change team

Initiating and planning a project

  • Establish project Statement of Works

  • Identify any areas of scope and/or responsibilities that are not clearly defined in the Statement of Work and agree on a resolution prior to completing the Project Plan

  • Identify project stakeholders and establish the communication plan

  • Liaise with other team members to establish a work breakdown structure

  • Establish project roles and responsibilities for successful delivery of workstream(s)

  • Align project requirements to resource competencies and establish the team

  • Build and manage a project plan (MS Project) together with project team

  • Establish cost control plan and manage allocated project budget

Executing a project

  • Lead the project teams to achieve project scope

  • Manage the project schedule

  • Manage senior business and tech team expectations throughout the project

  • Manage project quality assurance activities

  • Develop required change requests in line with a defined control approach

  • Manage resource plan(s), mitigating any potential resource conflicts including third party vendors. Escalate any personnel issues to upper management in a timely fashion

Monitor and Control

  • Track project status and communicate status to Platform Lead and Head of Domain

  • Manage project change control procedures and update project baseline as required

  • Communicate project related organisational changes to the customer

  • Monitor and control the project budget

  • Monitor quality of project deliverables

  • Monitor project risks and communicate status of risk plans

Closing a project

  • Obtain final project acceptance

  • Transition project deliverables to BAU

  • Survey project stakeholders and analyse results

  • Provide feedback to resources and execute procedure to release team

  • Formally close project according to PMO procedures

What we'd like:

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience of delivering large software and change projects, with evidence of running multiple workstreams at the same time

  • Ability to understand the wider context of the delivery within the ASOS environment and ensure that the impact (e.g. operational, IT, process) of the delivery across all areas is known, addressed and communicated using appropriate material and channels

  • Prior experience working with, and/or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties (e.g. third parties or clients) on large scale (ideally global) software implementation projects with contract values of at least 2million

  • Demonstrable leadership skills, delivery focus and gravitas to project positive energetic attitude and resolve disputes and challenges

  • Project Management Professional Qualification (either ISEB, PMP or Prince 2 Practitioner)

  • Experience delivering projects across a set of autonomous teams confirming to a mix of Agile, Iterative and Waterfall methodologies

  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment, working with complex projects and handling demanding customers

  • Possess a high degree of project planning, organisational skills, and systems integration expertise

  • MS Office skills including MS Project.

  • Experience of Retail and Ecommerce IT

  • Ability to effectively articulate and present technical information and risks to non-technical users and business sponsors

  • Ability to build positive relationships with system users, key business stakeholders and IT teams

Ensure effective market positioning of the hotel is in place, with a focus on driving brand awareness and overall performance * Proactively drive and identify new marketing initiatives to keep ahead of evolving market trends * Independently manage and implement marketing initiatives whilst ensuring all activity is aligned with regional and global activities * Awareness of Hilton Worldwide's global story – along with brand and corporate key messages which must form the backdrop of all communication * Implement an social media strategy * Communicate effectively, to target markets, the amenities and benefits of the hotel, including hotel refurbishments, food and beverage provisions, conference, banqueting and events * Work with local third party partners and maintain professional working relationships with local official bodies * Create and maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the hotel * Work closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges, as required * Manage and promote the hotel on Hilton Worldwide branded websites * Manage and control marketing budgets by using resources effectively * Develop and own promotional activities, marketing channels and the production of marketing materials for specific events * Research and develop new opportunities within key target markets * Communicate with internal Event Managers on all aspects of specific event organisation and promotion * Produce monthly reports as required What are we looking for?
