The Tri-Com Consulting Group A Full Service IT Employment Consulting Firm is seeking qualified candidates for the following opening:
RFP for vendor selection process and implementation of the client's next contract
Review of current requirements and operations of the project
Review and implementation for Federal and State requirements for a mandated Enhanced Inspection/Maintenance program (I/M)
Submittal of a refined RFP for the next contract
Development of an RFP for upcoming Contract for the project
Review of previous proposal, drafting and refinement of a RFP for submittal of the contract within project schedule
Ensure compliance of all federal and State requirements are inclusive and addressed within the new RFP. Incorporate requested enhancements
Potential oversight for start-up and transition
Assignment of other clients related tasks
The candidate would be required to:
Develop the RFP
Publish the RFP
Field questions from stakeholders
Field responses from stakeholders
Summarize proposals
Arrange demonstrations
Read and understand requirements of the law and how those requirements transfer into required services and deliverable
Manage the selection process
Manage the negotiations
Manage the configuration of the system requirements
Develop the implementation plan
Implement the plan
Remain available until the project is signed off by the client
Project Management of large IT projects exceeding $1M
Risk/Issue Management
Vendor Management
Change Management
Scope Management
Preferred but not required

  • PMP certification

  • SharePoint experience

  • Knowledge of implementing Federal or State RFP

In 2019, the Group Retiree business will be responsible for over $10 billion in revenue. This senior project manager role is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of more complex projects which typically impact sales operations, process, systems, product and/or function that all work towards enabling business growth specific to the Large Group employer and Group Medicare space. Fundamental Components: Develops and implements strategic project plan to achieve business goals. Proactively leads project and/or business by setting direction of project, creating project plan, timeline identifying key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s). Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization. Solicits and evaluates internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement. Responsible for managing the budget and/or financial implications of more complex projects. Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) and external parties (e.g., vendor management). Identifies issues that may stall project and addresses them by either resolving the issue or creating an alternative solution. Tracks progress and communicates project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties. Builds communication plans for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (up stream/down stream) are informed of next steps for completion, Acts as an advocate for change, may require influencing others to see the value in project, including managing interpersonal sensitivities and articulating the strategic view to ensure project alignment. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired: Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources Proven communication skills, both written and verbal Past experience includes development of budgets Past positions required acting as a project lead and directing different resources (team members) Proven ability to affect change/interpersonal skills Solid Project Management skills Experience working in fast-paced sales environment EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
