A Day in the Life of a Rural Sourcing Senior Project Manager:

The Senior Project Manager works closely with all functional groups and clients to understand product strategy and prioritize product development projects. The candidate will have experience leading client-facing activities, and possess the ability to interact with various teams in order to determine effectiveness and success. Prospective candidates must carry a blend of business and technical savvy, vision, and strong communication skills with respect to strategy, planning, execution and launch. This position requires a candidate who can direct projects from concept to completion, and communicate to all team members and clients involved in the project. This role requires our colleague to serve as a technical project manager and actively manage projects to deliver results. Planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on projects and other initiatives pertaining to client engagements

  • Utilize customer knowledge, market vision, usage scenarios, and competitive analysis in close collaboration with client to understand product strategy and development priorities

  • Engage with technical, QA and design teams to manage and communicate development timelines, milestones and impediments

  • Author requirement documents, ensuring acquisition of strategic market requirements and their properly translation into product requirements

  • Analysis of competitive product offerings and positioning of product and features

  • Responsible for communication of project activities and outputs and product knowledge to our client

  • Act as the Be Product Expert/Leader that others will recognize for future application and strategy

  • Ability to interact with team members and client contacts to provide leadership and guidance in support of project goals and objectives

Expertise a Rural Sourcing Colleague will need:

  • Minimum of five years experience in project management

  • Experience in release management and planning

  • Solid communication skills; written, verbal and presentation

  • Solid project management skills; detail oriented, self-directed

  • Strong analytical and strategic thought; skilled at both planning and hands-on execution

  • Positive attitude and energy, an excellent team player

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or technical discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience required

("Uniti") is seeking an experienced, cross-functional Service Delivery Project Manager focused specifically on service delivery to drive the acceptance, growth, and provisioning of service within Uniti Fiber's network. This position will have overall project responsibility and accountability to deliver quality products and services on time and within budget. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Provisioning and management of new Carrier customer orders to include: * Creating Circuit ID's. * Adding Backhaul information. * Demark, VLAN, site ID. * Coordinate joint site survey with ISP/Customer. * Gather site plans, MMP drawings and Customer Telco Ready forecast dates. * Track critical paths (Central offices, associated builds, back bone completion, etc.) * Maintain SalesForce Database up to date and accurate with on time updates daily. * Provisioning and management of Supporting Off-net orders: * CFA information. * Track SI firm dates. * Coordinate joint site survey with ISP/Off net provider. * Follow up on BIC Forms (joint site survey). * Track ISP Site Telco ready. * Track Carrier Delivery dates/ handle escalations until delivery. * Maintain communication on expectations/ Distribute weekly updated trackers (both internally and externally) on projects: * Track build/Create WKO and ensure off nets are disconnected. * Provide ongoing communication and customer support for pending and active orders: * Trouble shoot circuit issues for active circuits (support and refer to NOC). * Power issue resolution between SL/Customer. * Work-order creation and tracking for CPE moves, Shelter swaps, admin changes or any other work needed. * Coordinate site-access, changes in contact, billing information. * Order/Track NNI's capacity. * Interdepartmental coordination and communication across Sales, OSP, ISP and OPS and occasionally Finance * Gathering, tracking and managing information from OSP, ISP and OPS on their scope of work – at order and project level * Provision and track all Off-Net Backbone orders that support the network * Tracking of Central Office Collocations associated with existing Projects: * Responsible for auditing CFA database for capacity on T1/T3 and Fiber availability across all AT&T Central Offices * Provision and Manage Enterprise orders: * Coordinate/interface with Sales team on expectations and customer information. * Provision orders with IDs, Demark, customer special request, etc. * Set Target DD, provide Order Confirmation, ECDs, FOCs and Service Start Date documentation. * Track Site surveys with customer and Off net carriers when applicable, TLA approvals, Permitting timelines. * Track Customer Telco Status (Space and power availability). * Coordinate site access, Splicing and OPS installation with customer. * Maintain consistent communication with customer (average updates every 10-15 days for each Enterprise/Carrier customer, more often as ECD timeline approaches. * Other duties as assigned.
