The Senior Project Manager will define, scope, initiate and manage large departmental projects with moderate to high risk while supporting business and program management staff. Typical scope of the projects will be greater than 6 months, which are cross functional and be a project that is critical to the company meeting its objectives. Team members in a Project Manager role are expected to display core competencies such as Project Delivery, Financial Management, Risk Management, and Estimating and Planning. Expected expertise in each of these areas will vary based on job level.
Under general direction, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for project management and delivery for Pondera products and services across all lines of business in North America and is specifically responsible for managing the development, delivery, and approvals of key project milestones and artifacts to ensure on time and on budget delivery of Pondera implementations. The Project Manager will interact frequently with key business executives and stakeholders internally and externally. The Project Manager is part of a cross-functional team tasked with coordinating functional and technical teams to gather and validate project requirements, both internally and externally, in order to ensure the timely and successful delivery of Pondera projects.
Manages delivery of multiple projects simultaneously across a portfolio of markets and verticals
Manages delivery of the key project milestones to include formal customer-facing work products and approvals as required. Key project milestones may include:
Statements of Work (SOW)
Master Design Documents (MDD)
System Security Plans (SSP)
Data Use Agreements (DUA)
Pondera Requirements and On-boarding Process (PROP)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Weekly Project Status Meetings
Customer "Go Lives"
Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer stakeholders
Develops a trusted advisor relationship with key customer executive sponsors
Ensures the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Communicates clearly the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Participates in regular Customer Success Team calls
Records and tracks risks, issues, concerns, action items and works to ensure a timely resolution to Pondera customer's satisfaction
Forecasts and tracks key project milestones
Assists with high severity requests or customer escalations as needed
Willingly goes "above and beyond" to ensure the success of Pondera and its customers
Work with sales and marketing teams as requested on varied capture and marketing endeavors
Safeguards organizational Human Resources and financial sensitive information from unauthorized usage and individuals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems, and develop and implement solutions
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical users, and make presentations
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels both inside and outside of the organization

Experience with PMBOK
Experience in Government social service programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, Unemployment Insurance, Tax and Revenue, Eligibility, etc.
Experience utilizing project management tools such as MS Project
High level technical skills related to cloud-based software, the Software Development Lifecycle, and Agile Development Framework
In-depth knowledge of state & local government
Experience managing SaaS project accounts
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, healthcare, business, government administration or closely related field
At least four years of experience in account or project management
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through PMI
