What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner effectively with business and IT stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver business solutions

  • Work with Business Analysts and Developers by providing management direction and support. Find creative solutions to remove obstacles.

  • Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables

  • Follow a project management methodology and change control process

  • Work effectively with resource managers to identify project resources; define and assign project roles and monitor progress

  • Manage the entire life-cycle of projects including:

  • Manage scope and quality through bug triage and assignment, ensuring quality assurance is effectively performed

  • Effectively leverage tools to facilitate project success, including Risk and Issues Logs, project sites, project dashboards, and others

  • Keep the project team and management informed on project status and issues

  • Ensure successful deployment through team communications, end user training, deployment checklists, and deployment validation

  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meeting scope requirements of key stakeholders, and with high quality results

  • Facilitate continuous improvement through Project Closure documentation and Lessons Learned discussions

  • Ensure technical and user documentation is completed as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum Seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology or business-related roles with increasing levels of responsibility

  • Five (5) years of experience leading software development projects that deliver high business value

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience

  • Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred

  • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

  • Experience using project management software such as MS Project

  • Ability to verbally present complex concepts and technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Written communications skills sufficient to write organized and concise systems documentation, project documentation, reports, and business correspondence

  • Detail orientation, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

As a member of our Client Delivery and Operations team, Senior Project Managers play a critical role in the delivery of some of the world's most advanced cloud computing initiatives. This position provides a unique opportunity to actively participate in project teams helping our clients with migrating applications and data to cloud environments, developing cloud-native applications, and architecting and modernizing cloud infrastructures. Although we are headquartered in Boston, our clients are located across the US. We are flexible on location – you may work remotely from any US location, as long as you are able to travel to client locations.
