The role of a project manager is to consistently execute and deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction for both, internal and external clients while maintaining the speed and accuracy required in a dynamic environment.Our Projects Managers have a core competency of the internal tools and processes to efficiently utilize the company's resources, ensuring all projects are successful from start to finish. The job requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain full project ownership in delivering (but not limited to) low to mid-complexity custom market research projects with a project duration typically between 24 hours to one month

Manage expectations and deliver the highest level of services in an ever-changing, fast turnaround environment

Is able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels

Proficient technical aptitude to build expertise with various market research tools specific to the company and the industry

Build effective, professional working relationships with our clients, providing them guidance and advice where appropriate as it relates to Research Now's products and services

Ability to manage stress while trouble shooting a range of issues in high-pressure situations

Ensure project task activities are completed through personal production, internal support teams (such as survey programming, client development, etc.), and vendors (such as translators, etc.)Tasks may include:Testing online survey links

SamplingSet-up and monitor reports to evaluate key project metrics

Ensure quality measures are followed

Updating clients regularly on project progress

Ensure key project performance metrics such as project profitability meet or exceed established guidelines

Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate project challenges in a timely manner

Effectively communicate both as an individual and as part of a client-facing project team

ExperienceAt least three years of account or project management experience required

Experience in market research strongly desired

Posting Address 40 Waterview Drive Shelton, CT 06484 Position Overview The Electrical Products team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with proven success at directly leading projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Proficient at organizing and facilitating multi-functional teams, building relationships, and driving change in either a remote and/or onsite format. This role will provide the opportunity to make significant direct contribution across all areas of the business. Duties and Responsibilities * Assumes leadership role on projects of moderate to high complexity and size with limited supervision. Able to work on complex tasks, lead teams, and manage multiple projects to completion. * Project Management of day-to-day activities for assigned projects within Electrical Products Business Unit. * Identifies, evaluates, and resolves project conflicts and issues. Identifies resource requirements and constraints for projects according to determined timelines and budgets. * Creates and maintains all critical project management documentation including WBS, Scope, Schedule (Gantt Chart), Cost (Budget) * Expert in risk management and mitigation plans * Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organizational structure (Brand Management, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Marketing, Operations) in attaining desired business objectives. * Experience working in a stage/phase gate product development process. * Ensures best practices and procedures are implemented and followed per Hubbell's NPD (New Product Development) system.
