Job responsibilities include:
Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects including project pursuit, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination and correlation of construction drawings.
Prepare schematics, design development and construction documents. Develop, modify and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project. Plan, coordinate and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
Review construction submittals and assist in construction administration. Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.
Mentor junior design staff to provide design and career guidance.
Candidate must be willing and able to travel for project assignments.
Licensable degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. If Architect or Engineer, then prefer to be licensed in Tennessee.
Minimum 25 years of job-related vertical design experience required. Healthcare design experience is strongly preferred. Minimum of 18 years project management experience is required.
Demonstrated experience using MS Excel, MS Project, Deltek Vision, and other project management software.
Works well within a team environment
