Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager reports to the Program Director of MUSC's Affiliate Services team and collaborates within the MUSC Information Solutions department, following internal processes and frameworks set by the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). This pivotal role focuses on overseeing the successful implementation of technology solutions, particularly Epic Community Connect projects, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and delivering high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar IT implementations, with a strong track record in client-facing project management and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Prior experience with Epic and/or Epic Community Connect is preferred.
This role involves independently leading and managing all aspects of project work and client-related communication. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and controlling project activities across diverse technology portfolios, including academic, research, and healthcare system integrations. Effective utilization of organizational, communication, and leadership skills is essential for driving successful project outcomes in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust client engagement are critical for achieving milestones and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, healthcare, management, or a related field, with five (5) years of project management experience in software deployment or similar technology filed
Experience must include supporting, leading, or coordinating project activities
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required
Preferred management experience leading a team
Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership
Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships
Advanced proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
ServiceNow experience preferred, specifically with the project management module
Demonstrated success in leading projects across all phases of project management, focusing on technology solutions
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, and project change controls
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt quickly to dynamic environments
Experience in building and managing budgets, including budget forecasting
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
