Mailgun is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Business Operations department. The primary goal of the Business Operations department is to facilitate outcomes that customers will find to be valuable to consume and that Mailgunners will find to find to be extremely rewarding to build. The Senior Project Manager role will help us achieve this goal by coordinating key initiatives among Mailgunners of all levels (front-line to C-level) and strategic third-party vendors. Responsibilities include building consensus on key priorities, identifying the metrics to be used to track value creation, and consistently report on actual vs estimated progress.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for multiple large projects in a fast-growing, startup environment where scope is subject to change and there is a high degree of risk
  • Consistently provide audience-appropriate reports, presentations, and documentation
  • Own change management throughout the lifecycle of the projects
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analytics

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive IT project management required
  • Experience implementing or optimizing quote-to-cash processes
  • Experience implementing or optimizing CRM systems
  • College degree or PMP certification
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and executive team
  • Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient

Preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Prior experience as business analyst

Using a standardized project management approach, the PM will manage the execution of all aspects of the project life cycle for external client implementation projects. The PM is a key member of the project team responsible for implementing a healthcare and community-based solution platform within a rapid delivery methodology. The PM works closely with Population Designers, Account Directors, Engineering and other various team members to deliver solutions that help healthcare and community organizations automate key workflows.
