We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our trail building team! This just might

be your dream job if you have a passion for giving back to the mountain biking community and

would enjoy being part of a team that creates awesome new trails. This position is a full-time,

salaried exempt position. The best thing about our Build Team is that were a fun-loving bunch,

motivated to constantly improve!

  • Work closely with the Directors of Trail Solutions
  • Report, estimate, and budget projects for Trail Solutions
  • Supervise staff within consulting/contracting program(s)
  • Coordinate with other staff during trail development
  • Respond to inquiries regarding consulting and construction services
  • Manage your workflow for on-time deliverables
  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability with many personality types
  • Manage project milestones, timelines and budget
  • Manage and coordinate work projects with IMBA staff including project scope and priority
  • Manage and coordinate of the project lifecycle including communications with stakeholders to monitor progress, update schedules, gather any missing or additional information or resources
  • Champion identification and elimination of project roadblocks that may arise throughout project life-cycle
  • Act as a catalyst to resolve project issues and escalate when necessary
  • Meet the performance goals established by IMBAs leadership
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience with estimating construction projects
  • Experience in report writing for project proposals, conceptual plans and grant reporting
  • B.A/B.S. degree in related field (e.g., construction management, engineering, landscaping, resource management, urban planning) or similar combination of experience and education
  • Skill using office-based software systems (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skill using consulting/contracting-specific software systems (e.g., GIS, MS Project)
  • Proficient use or Microsoft Office products and database(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision
  • Fully functional home office in a quiet setting required
  • Mountain Biking Experience
  • The Ability to Travel 50% of the time (you will travel this much on a regular basis)
