Senior Project Manager

Summary:

The Senior Project Manager leverages Huntington project methodology and provides leadership that promotes and supports development, implementation and completion of medium to large size projects, as well as execution of recurring business processes. These projects and processes are typically characterized as having high visibility and risk involving multiple business units.

The Senior Project Manager will be part of the of the Model Development team within risk management

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This senior level position would manage the most complex and highest visibility projects, and would typically require proven, senior-level project management skills.

• Works with business unit manager(s) and project sponsor to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule.

• Supports the model development team's goals by providing project management services.

• Assembles project team and manages the project on-going, identifying risks, implementing changes, monitoring and communicating progress.

• Ensures team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues. Ensures project deliverables meet customer needs.

• Performs light administrative duties in support of the model development team and Leader to include meeting scheduling.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Assembles data and insights from model development team into meaningful executive level summaries and presentations.

• Ensures that requirements of model risk management policies and procedures are met including completeness of execution and timely escalation through end user committees

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management or technical writing

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMI Certification

• Microsoft PPT Proficiency is a must
