The Fortive/ASP team is looking to add a Project Manager to lead the Operations Workstream teams through the TSA, Day2 integration, and SAP deployment.
In this role, you will lead multiple Global Operations functions including Materials/Planning, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Plant Operations. A primary role will be to lead our Operations SAP integration efforts across Planning, Manufacturing, Master Data, Procurement, and Warehousing, and across our global operations in Europe, Asia, and North America. Operations leadership is required on several Transitional Service Agreement exits, including Japan 3rd Party Products, Demand Planning, and outsourcing initiatives for Japan Biocide manufacturing, Japan Relabeling, Capital Inspection, and Heatsealer Repair services.
The Operations Workstream Leader will report to the VP of Global Operations and become a member of the ASP Global Operations Senior Leadership Team. As a member of the Operations Senior Leadership Team, you will help develop and implement project plans that meet Global Operations objectives. As the lead Operations Workstream Leader, your scope of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading Operations workstreams on the critical transition projects, working with the Global Operations staff on defining objectives for each workstream, planning and executing the project plan on schedule and resource budget.

Leading the cross functional operations teams to deliver aggressive project objectives
Will lead resources across multiple workstreams to ensure the completion of program plans and tasks as required
Work across functions to ensure functional are optimally managed and implemented
Work with designated ASP teams and leaders to accomplish project objectives
Interact with J&J team(s) to obtain required information to successfully implement project plans and meet program objectives
Create visual management tracking mechanisms to ensure effective progress against key goals and assignments
Create and track Key Process Indicators (KPI's), develop "burndown" lists as needed to track progress
Coordinate with global regulatory, quality, and medical affairs teams to ensure plans are aligned with requirements
Acquiring, aligning and prioritizing resources and budgets to meet project/initiative/workstream objectives
Championing and extending our FBS and Lean Culture. Drive effective daily management and visual management that are at the point of impact on these critical projects
Communicate project status to other workstream leaders and L1 leadership team as needed on status, actions, and risks
Escalate and resolve critical project risks to ensure successful completion of project plans to objectives
Required Minimum Education 1 or Equivalent
BS Degree in Engineering or Microbiology/Biology is required, although others will be considered depending upon experience.
A minimum of 8 years of business experience is required;
A minimum of five years of business experience leading acquisition integration projects or other critical projects/initiatives
Working knowledge of FDA, ISO and BSI requirements is preferred.
Experience within manufacturing preferred. Cross functional management experience required; with experiences in manufacturing engineering, production operations, and various materials management roles desired
Experience working with Japanese culture desired
Years of Related Experience:
10 yrs. of progressive operations management experience required, preferably in the medical device field
Experience as a Project Manager (4-6 years)
