Job Description: G3 is seeking a motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordination of the design, implementation, and management of telecommunication circuits.
- Assist with CESO network modeling, analysis, planning and test strategies.
- Assist with developing and writing functional requirements/specifications/test documents.
- Responsible for performing circuit activation, upgrades, & deactivations related to DISA Telecommunications Service Orders (TSOs).
- Activates, changes, upgrades, and deactivates trunks, links, and circuits in accordance with DISA TSOs.
- Performs Test and Acceptance on all telecommunication trunks, links, circuits using assigned parameter codes.
- Liaison with Government and Commercial technology providers.
- Support CESO network road-map direction.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance during deployment of new CESO circuits.
- Assist with installation and deinstallation of network hardware such as cables, switches, encryption devices and routers.
- Support Network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Preparing technical reports and technical specifications documents
- Manage several circuit projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
- Recommend solutions, improvements, strategies, and architecture for geographically dispersed data networks.
- Support Enterprise Architect in designing network engineering initiatives for all project-related and ongoing operations support for network communication services.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in a large Enterprise IT and/or FederalAgency environment
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience at the project manager level in the chosen management methodology
- Requirements tools, development, and tracking
- Monitoring program execution to identify obstacles and deviations from plan and takes corrective action as needed
- Technically competent with Microsoft Project, Jira, and/or other project management tools
- Continuous risk assessment and management practices including developing measures to reduce risk in program execution
- Contract management, budgeting, and resource allocation, including management of subcontractor personnel
Desired:
- All aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration auditsconfiguration documentation preferred
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMIACP) or equivalent certification preferred
(if Agile is used) - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred
