The Finance team's goal is to be a trusted and collaborative partner to all the businesses and functional teams that we work with, bringing business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. We strive to generate value through providing specialist advice and making recommendations to optimize decision making, delivering transparent processes and implementing governance and controls to mitigate risk.
In this role you will report to the Head of the Global Finance PMO and be a part of building the Program Management Office (PMO) for Finance. In addition to leading complex initiatives in support of the Finance strategic vision, you will help establish project management guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business. You will handle the business-side of multiple projects and will interact with multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams at all seniority levels, including leadership. The successful candidate should be able to quickly understand the business and must have excellent communication skills, with strong experience in leading complex projects in a global environment.
Form recommendations on PMO best practices and help shape development of new PMO organization.
Lead programs and projects from idea phase through to implementation. Develop project plans and schedules, balance resources and track the completion of milestones.
Align program with other company initiatives and manage cross-project dependencies
Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues which pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose plans to resolve issues and execute corrective actions.
Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Ensure all stakeholders are aware of project decisions and status. Keep executive sponsors informed via status presentations and appropriate escalations.
Manage through others; successfully influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals.
Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships.
Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances.
Bachelor's degree required (information systems, business, finance preferred), MIS or MBA a plus
10+ years project and program management
Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across geographies
Business leadership of large cross-functional technology implementations with teams such as Finance, HR, Marketing or Sales.
Working knowledge of business process analysis methodology and tools
Strong understanding of Agile PM practices
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
Experience with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Forecast to Delivery and Hire to Retire a plus
