EXP is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing a broad range of projects for petrochemical and refining industries as a prime EXP point of contact to the client. Must have the ability to manage multi-discipline engineering activities including FEED's, detail engineering, and design. EP services as well as EPC-M services for projects. This includes ensuring that scope of work is established, scheduled and progressed. All must be in accordance with project and client requirements. Also responsible for developing and reporting project progress and cost to the client and internally.
Manages projects, ensuring safety, reliability, environmental and human impacts are mitigated
Works with business development and assist in the development of commercial and technical proposals
Defines and prepares job scopes and cost estimates to be delivered for assigned projects
Develops detail project execution plans, project controls plan, quality plans, subcontracting plans, procurement plans and project organizational charts
Drives the development and updates of project schedules, levels 1,2,3 and 4 for the different phases of project execution
Creates, maintains and approves project specific documentation (deliverables) for formal issue.
Ensures project standards are being met
Drives and maintains change management
Anticipates, manages and resolves issues within the contract or packages
Ensure project is progressing on schedule and within budget
Identify project risk and mitigations
Drives and supports the development and issuance of Construction Work Packages
Develops and presents monthly reports that include budgeted, Actual and Forecasted monthly cash flow Maintain effective communications with all stake holders
Communicates the project status and developmental activities to Client, Senior Management and Stake Holders
Provides corrective action when the project is not being progressed as planned.
Manages the development and issuance of Invoices
Assesses qualifications of key resources and confirm staffing requirements are met and identify any personnel shortfalls
Provide leadership to a diverse project team and drive teamwork approach to project execution
Be a mentor and help develop team members to progress
Ensure all deliverables required have been developed and issued in accordance with the contractual requirements
Act as a mentor to all on the project team and show commitment to meeting high expectations and commitments.
Establishes and maintain communication and effective working relationships of the project team

The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Mechanical or equal) in Engineering from an accredited educational institution
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of project management experience working in the petrochemical and refining industry
Demonstrated commitment to Safety
Strong Leadership, organizational and managerial skills
Detailed Understanding of project lifecycle from concept to handover
Proven experience in the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation
Successfully managed complex projects in a Dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
Ability to support the project proposal department with the development of proposals
Self-starter that can perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills commensurate with the position of a PM
Review project work, quantities, costs, accuracy of specifications, completeness, and constructability
Interpret architectural/construction drawings, specifications, codes, standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to review work and constructively criticize and share knowledge with others
Effectively negotiate with senior managers and clients
Compile, review and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness and compliance
Perform work accurately in a detail-oriented environment
Ability to ensure all estimate deliverables developed are required and can support the level of stated estimate accuracy
Ability to use standard computer applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials
Understanding of Key Performance Indicators, project controls and forecasting
Skilled at the early identification of issues with project development
Skilled at the development of alternate execution plans to bring project back in line with original plan
Good Presentation skills
Perform on-site design services and field engineering work
