Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager-Construction to be based out of our Chandler AZ facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this person will be responsible for managing the in house builds supporting larger/high profile projects while managing direct reports (Sub contractors) within the OSM Facility.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead a high- performance team in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:

• Direct all phases of project management including procurement/contracting, project scope, scheduling, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project.

• Drive safety initiatives and expectations for the OSM Facility.

• Responsible for hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation of direct reports and work group including tracking performance, coaching, training needs, onboarding carpenters, and motivating team.

• Direct and prioritize builds with partnered sub-contractors within OSM Facility.

• Responsible for ensuring project within budget including SOV; Understand and track financial information related to the project.

• Planning and leading Client facing calls/meetings.

• Tracking project metrics; proactively identifying and mitigating risk(s).

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related functional areas, preferred or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or related fields (manufacturing), including construction inspection, estimating, scheduling, and project controls.

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills

• Microsoft Project, Blue Beam, Procore, BIM 360 experience, highly preferred.

• Proven communication and customer service skills

• Ability to succeed with client relationships.

• Interior office project management experience required.

• Understand and track financial information related to the project.

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Learn the Atkore Business System

• Learn our internal software and programs (eCMS, Salesforce, Procore)

• Participate in coordination meetings with all internal and external team members.

Within 6 months, you'll:

• Take ownership of direct reports and work group

• Maintain/oversee daily office operations.

• Lead performance tracking, coaching, training, and development of direct reports and regional group efforts.

Within 12 months, you'll:

• Analyze and approve final bids that make up the final estimate for a project.

• Forecast regional revenue and margin expectations on a weekly basis.

• Monitor project costs against final approved budget.
