Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to support the Certification Effort associated with UK Extended Range Aircraft. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA.
This Project Manager position will lead and manage compliance with the United Kingdom's Military Aviation Authority requirements resulting in issuance of a Certificate of Design (CoD) for the MH-47G Block II aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and planning support including, but not limited to, certification, qualification, and system safety analysis. The position will coordinate with key stakeholders across functions and capabilities within Boeing as well as externally with suppliers and customers.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, demonstrate a robust attention to detail and an ability to adjust priorities efficiently and effectively. They will also have the ability to quickly familiarize themselves at a high level with new issue areas, as well as the ability to shift from supporting work from one issue to the next.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, managing, and execution of activities on the UK ER Program
Supporting U.S. Army and International customer meetings and engagements
Demonstrates proficiency in all project management, verbal and written communication, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint
Collaborative leadership to coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage scope, schedule, and execution of deliverables
Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation; ability to adjust and pivot for planned and unplanned changes
Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans
Acquires resources for organizational activities and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Travel in accordance with business needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
Experience briefing Customer and Organization leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
Experience with international military customers
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Summary pay range (level 3): $93,500 - $126,500
Summary pay range (level 4): $115,600 - $156,400
Summary pay range (level 5): $141,950 - $192,050
