Senior Project Manager of Architectural Metal

Job Overview:

This role is crucial in leading and managing the architectural metal division, overseeing all aspects of project management, operations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the architectural metal industry, a proven track record in senior management, and the ability to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Collaborate with the VP of Metal and senior management to align division goals with overall company vision and objectives.
  2. Project Management:

    • Oversee the successful execution of architectural metal projects from inception to completion.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Monitor project progress, address issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals across various functions.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional growth opportunities.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
    • Prepare regular reports for the VP of Metal and senior management on division performance, including financial metrics, project status, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the architectural metal industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Must have experience with Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a business unit or division.
  • Must have experience running teams and overseeing ACM-related work.
  • Strong understanding of architectural metal design, manufacturing processes, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a clear communicator and able to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
