Aetna Medicaid is hiring a Senior Project Manager to support our Medicaid Medical Management Team. Opportunity is open across the US and not location specific

Sr. Project Manager responsible for leading a variety of initiatives for the Medicaid Medical Management Team. Involves working with key stakeholders at the health plans and across shared services.

Fundamental Components:

Sr. Project Manager responsible for leading projects on the Medicaid Medical Management Team.

Projects include new plan implementations, clinical cost savings initiatives, ABX initiatives, system initiatives (replacement, new, or redesign), and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Flexible in working cross-functionally with a variety of subject matter experts and with key stakeholders at the health plan and within shared services. Ability to design a work plan and use available tools/programs to facilitate and track deliverables and key milestones to ensure successful project management and on-time execution.

Ability to identify and execute risk mitigation strategies. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are a must for this role.


(*) Solid project management skills. Proven track record as a self-starter in leading projects, negotiating for resources and meeting project milestones.

(*) Proven professional communication skills both written and verbal. Strength in communicating to provide clarity and direction to colleagues in varied positions, including senior leadership.

(*) Proven ability to affect change and motivate others, positive interpersonal skills.

(*) Past positions required acting a project lead and directing a team.

(*) Past experience includes development of budgets.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

This is an engineering position for an experienced Senior Project/Design Manager who will be responsible for the technical design and management of roadway design projects in South Florida. The successful candidate will be expected to help grow the Doral office's roadway design practice working and increase sales by: * Serving as Project Manager for key roadway design projects including interchange designs. * Develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity. * Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advance design concepts, techniques and standards. * Assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical quality. * General business development and marketing focus, while ensuring client care and feedback to maintain high quality performance. * Staff resource planning. * 12 years minimum experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of design projects is required. * Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university is required. * Position requires a candidate with design and management of limited access facilities experience. * Florida Professional Engineer (PE) is required. * Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess written and oral communication skills is required. * FDOT Design and Design Build experience is preferred. * Position requires a candidate that has an accomplished track record in Transportation/Roadway design with FDOT Districts 4 & 6. * Demonstrate knowledge/proficiency in Microstation and Geopak, 3D corridor modeling. * Experience as a seller/doer for transportation in the South Florida market is required. #BIA At Jacobs, we help prepare people for new opportunities and challenges.
