Aetna Medicaid is hiring a Senior Project Manager to support our Medicaid Medical Management Team. Opportunity is open across the US and not location specific
Sr. Project Manager responsible for leading a variety of initiatives for the Medicaid Medical Management Team. Involves working with key stakeholders at the health plans and across shared services.
Sr. Project Manager responsible for leading projects on the Medicaid Medical Management Team.
Projects include new plan implementations, clinical cost savings initiatives, ABX initiatives, system initiatives (replacement, new, or redesign), and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Flexible in working cross-functionally with a variety of subject matter experts and with key stakeholders at the health plan and within shared services. Ability to design a work plan and use available tools/programs to facilitate and track deliverables and key milestones to ensure successful project management and on-time execution.
Ability to identify and execute risk mitigation strategies. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are a must for this role.
(*) Solid project management skills. Proven track record as a self-starter in leading projects, negotiating for resources and meeting project milestones.
(*) Proven professional communication skills both written and verbal. Strength in communicating to provide clarity and direction to colleagues in varied positions, including senior leadership.
(*) Proven ability to affect change and motivate others, positive interpersonal skills.
(*) Past positions required acting a project lead and directing a team.
(*) Past experience includes development of budgets.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Project Management/Project Management Professional, PMP is desired
