Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities.

  • Manages human resource goals by recruiting, training, coaching, and disciplining employees.

  • Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.

  • Plans and reviews compensation actions and enforces policies and procedures.

  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews and preparing and completing action plans

  • Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing change.

  • Meets financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving ability

  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus

Program Manager Qualifications / Skills:
  • Staffing, planning, and people management

  • Managing performance and profitability

  • Financial planning and strategy

  • Promoting process improvement

  • Strategic planning

  • Dealing with complexity, analyzing information, and implementing company vision

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in relevant industry

  • Minimum 1-3 years' management experience

Einstein campuses are Tobacco and Smoke Free.In this role you will be responsible for:Creating or acquiring new clinical content and maintaining and updating current clinical content in Albert Einstein Healthcare Network's (AEHN) Electronic Health Record (EHR) and associated systems in all specialties, service lines, and care setting across the network.Managing multiple, simultaneous projects in varying stages of completion to ensure that they are completed on schedule and that they meet all of the requirements.Keeping scope creep to a minimum while maintaining the records of any suggested out-of-scope requirements for potential future enhancements.Determining the priority of work to be performed, balancing clinical exigency, regulatory requirements, and fairness to all roles, departments, and campuses.Setting timelines for deliverables, working with Einstein colleagues to ensure that they stay on schedule, and creating contingency and risk mitigation plans to maintain on-time completion of projects.Forming good working relationships with stakeholders from every clinical and revenue cycle role and department who you will be calling upon for their expertise and time to assist with projects.Building consensus between stakeholders from different departments, roles, or campuses who have conflicting opinions or demands.Ensuring that clinical content is based on the best and most current knowledge available. Where objective evidence or recognized standards are not established, making the best decisions based on local or regional standards of care or inferred standards from similar disciplines or medical specialtiesUnderstanding both the similarities and differences in workflow and informational needs of all users within AEHN.If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:At least 3 years as a practicing Physician. Or an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with prior research experience in the clinical setting, in clinical content development or other work that demonstrated the ability to build an evidence-based case to support the hypotheses within a medical/clinical setting.Knowledge of the clinical content life cycle and what is required to evaluate and adjust the content over time.Expertise with Zynx Health order set content and its associated tools (Knowledge Analyzer and Author Space)Excellent writing skillsFacility with Microsoft Office and other Microsoft 365 applications used at AEHN.A current medical (physician or surgeon) license from at least one state is desired but not requiredNo negative activity reported to the National Practitioner Data Bank or to any state medical licensing board or loss of hospital privileges at any facility in the United States in the last ten (10) years.(MD or DO) + completion of a residency training in a Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited program (BC or BE).Physical Demands:Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking within department and throughout medical center as needed.
