Project Analysis: Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions, incorporating input from field operations. Innovative Solutions:

Explore alternative construction methods to enhance bid competitiveness. Accuracy Assurance: Verify “take-off” quantities and utilize cost history to ensure precise estimates.

Stakeholder Communication: Present estimates to senior management and communicate bid information to field operations. Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain business relationships to increase regional bid opportunities. Preconstruction Leadership: Lead design-build preconstruction services to ensure competitive estimates and schedules.

Required Skills and Experience Educational Background: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Industry Experience: 8 years of estimating experience in civil, marine, bridge, or tunnel construction.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, Primavera Scheduling, and estimating software like HCSS HeavyBid. Regulatory Knowledge:

Advanced understanding of agency (U)DBE requirements and civil construction industry standards. What We Value Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities to ensure accurate cost estimations.
