Weston Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with remedial engineering experience to develop and implement client focused remedial solutions for site closure. The successful candidate will develop design-build-operate solutions for groundwater treatment, soil remediation, and vapor control. Field experience with construction, startup, operations and operations trouble shooting is required. The position requires strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Location: Concord, NH (preferred); Edison, NJ; West Chester, PA; Mundelein, IL; Denver, CO

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, Master's degree preferred

  • 10 to 20 years related experience

  • Experience with remedial treatment for groundwater, soil and vapor control, including in situ and ex situ treatment technologies.

  • Design, construction, startup, operations and operations trouble shooting experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience communicating remedial solutions to clients, regulators and technical team.

  • Experience developing and implementing site closure strategies based on available data and recommending additional data collection to support strategy development.

  • Ability to persuasively communicate advantages, disadvantages, and risks for closure strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience writing winning proposals for design-build-operate for site closure solutions.

  • Experience procuring and managing construction subcontractors and equipment suppliers. Able to develop subcontractor scopes, obtain bids from subcontractors/vendors, evaluate bids and select the preferred subcontractors/vendors.

  • Able to analyze, interpret and present data and meet time sensitive deadlines.

  • Able to carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

  • Demonstrated understanding and awareness of health and safety practices.

  • Able to work effectively in group settings with diverse team members.

  • Perform various engineering related calculations and analyses of information in the application of the basic design criteria necessary to complete assigned projects.

  • Plan, schedule and perform quality control (QC) checks and reviews.

  • Assists the Project Manager in estimating and tracking project costs.

  • Sequences work and schedules staff resources to meet schedules and budgets.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Ability to travel to and work at project sites as required to lead solution implementation. This position is a field and office position.

Desired, but not mandatory, qualifications include:

  • EIT desired, PE desired

  • Working knowledge of Federal and State regulatory processes and reporting (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, state specific cleanup programs, etc.)

  • Knowledge in the use of CAD programs including Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The Water Restoration Project Manager will spend the majority of their time in the field, servicing our customers. The Water Restoration Project Manager must be WRT & ASD certified. Quality Assurance and Administration * Execute action plan to successfully accomplish the new/current business plan. * Train and lead teams to deliver superior customer service (Front Door Four). * Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of Stanley Steemer in the community. * Manage documentation on projects. * Work closely with the Water Restoration Manager/ General Manager. * Assist Operations in team building and training. * Meet with staff to review accounts, progress and goals.
