Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer Location: Austin, TX with travel to Dallas Salary: $130,000 maximum No sponsorship available We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer who will be managing a state-wide team of Designers, Engineers, and Estimators.

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for capital projects including designing and permitting. Main Duties as Senior Project Engineer: Manage teams to plan and execute water and wastewater projects.

These projects include rehabilitation of existing facilities and building of new facilities. Manage capital planning and execution. Manage the estimating team to ensure cost is as accurate and possible.

Oversee prep of contract bid documents and plans, as well as coordinating with Planning & Engineering, Construction, and Operations. Assist in the development of annual capital improvement plans that prioritize capital projects. Direct the preparation of permits applications for the construction of capital projects.

This will involve meetings with local officials. Utilize the company’s financial information system for all aspects of the project. Necessary qualifications to be considered for the position: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or environmental Minimum of 5 years in managerial position PE License in the State of Texas Experience in the water utility industry
