Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will champion projects, ensuring efficient planning and execution. You will be responsible for establishing project plans, coordinating reviews, and implementing project elements effectively. This role involves assisting the Program Manager or Product Manager in scheduling, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet objectives. You will communicate updates to stakeholders and oversee technical, procurement, and compliance activities. Your decision-making will be crucial as you hold final design authority to drive projects based on team inputs and engineering management directives. Your responsibilities will include tracking and actioning project milestones, directing team members, mitigating risks, providing project updates, escalating issues, addressing project abnormalities, and ensuring the delivery of compliant products.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

The work environment entails managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously, with approximately 13 projects per Project Engineer. You will be part of a team that includes 2 other Project Engineers, 2 Design Engineers, a Manufacturing or Product Development Engineer, a Quality Engineer, and a Prototype Technician. You will not directly manage people but will oversee the processes involving your dedicated team. Travel is minimal, with expectations of 1-3 trips a year.
