Our client in the oil gas industry is currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator within their PMO group. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator will be required to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management, clients and staff.

This is a long-term contract opportunity looking to pay up to $50/hr with immediate contract benefits available. This is NOT an entry level position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the planning, execution, separation, integration and organizational restructuring activities related to M A initiatives.

Provide Project Management support in merger integration activities across planning and deployment, finance and risk management, operations transformation, systems integration and program development.

Provide reporting and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, suggested mitigations to risks, actions to close issues or complete open items.

Support dashboards to monitor integration status.

Assist with identifying fulfilling project documentation requirements and project close-out.

Must make field walks, read project drawings, solve technical problems and manage project priorities.

Individual may manage his/her own projects or function as coordinator to other PM's located in other offices with managing personnel.

Assist the Lead Project Manager with project man-loading forecasts.

Coordinate with document control and the Lead PM for timely distribution of Project Meeting Notes.

Assemble project meeting packages and transmit to document control for reproduction and distribution.

Coordinate timely resolution of Action Items and be responsible for updating the Action item Log.

Obtain project schedule updates from the project management team to communicate and provide documentation.

Obtain complete and accurate Discipline Status Reports from the Engineering/Design leads on the project.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 years? experience in a project coordination or project management position.

Basic knowledge of various PC software packages (MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Project).

Must be able to understand and interpret technical material.

Must be able to identify problems quickly and be able to propose possible solutions.

Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.

Must be able to work as part of a team.

Must pay close attention to details follow high standards for accuracy and completeness and accept constructive criticism from coworkers.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
