What You Will Do

As an Associate with The Resource Group, you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze data from multiple sources for the development of reports and statistical information.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of Enterprise Data Quality jobs used in master data validations and processing.

  • Responsible for the solutioning of tools to increase efficiency in processes across Master Data Management.

  • Responsible for the training of tools, solutions, and processes across Master Data Management.

  • Compiles analytical and statistical reports as needed from Product Data Hub, SharePoint, and PeopleSoft to support reporting.

  • Formulates, defines and recommends scope and format of reports.

  • Reviews information for accuracy and reconciles data on a regular basis.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree required.

Work Experience:

  • Two or more years analytical experience required.

The role of the Master Data Analyst will be to manage the data integrity of Bunzl's existing data repositories by analyzing, resolving and maintaining item and supplier attributes in support of all business processes that comprise the Procure to Pay cycle. This role requires heavy coordination and communication with the requesting parties in the field offices. Responsibilities: * Maintain, monitor and analyze master data against standards including but not limited to UPC and GTIN number compliance * Analyze incoming and existing entries for regulatory requirements related to product information (including emerging requirements) * Perform audits on key data elements to safeguard data integrity and identify areas of master data weakness, suggesting methods of improvement * Ensure and enhance data quality by training users to ensure continuity of results * Harmonize raw data from acquisition sources to ensure compliance with established data standards and existing records * Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems utilizing established global and regulatory rules * Implement MDM practices, policies and procedures that optimize process efficiency and data quality Requirements: * Post high school education or combination of equivalent work experience (Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred) * Solid understanding of fundamental business processes and the effect of data downstream * Strong attention to detail with optimal organizational skills; focus on teamwork and follow-up * Capacity to work autonomously on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast paced, and action-oriented environment * Logical, process-based approach to problem solving with an ability to learn and apply new information * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) * Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills * AS/400 or JDE experience strongly preferred Bunzl Distribution has a tradition of commitment to equal employment opportunity.
