Senior Project Accountant

job summary:

This is a short term position that could go longer for the right candidate! A company in the South Puget Sound area is looking for assistance with several projects they are currently working on. This position sits in a beautifully modern office and would be headed the opposite way of all the Seattle traffic!

Experience in the following areas is highly desireable:

  • contract review and analysis

  • percentage completion accounting

  • work in progress evaluation

  • revenue recognition

  • project analysis

  • understanding costs and the proper coding

  • ability to pull and write reports within Oracle

[Project, Full-Time, 8 Months] Integrates applications, software, systems and associated workflow processes into AOC information systems serving the needs of the Washington judiciary. This is a project position to support the Expedited Data Exchange (EDE) Program tracks, to establish the statewide Enterprise Data Repository (EDR) and support King County District Court piloting of their new case management system. Duties The AOC seeks a full-time senior level .NET/WCF developer to help augment current project resources in the development, testing and deployment of project solutions under the guidance of the project team. It is expected that the deliverables provided by this resource will include: Software Development a. Compiled .NET/WCF Source-Code Solutions Solutions will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Well-Commented .NET/WCF Source-Code * Compiled .NET Objects * Tested and deployed b. Deployment Support/Documentation Deployment support/documentation will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Details sufficient for ISD staff to deploy developed solutions into various environments (e.g., development, testing, staging, production, etc.). * Description of key configuration details required to support the solutions developed. * Articulate the options available to staff in their deployment along with recommendations where applicable. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science OR closely allied field; AND Eight (8) years of experience working in a complex information technology environment including direct experience with a major systems integration effort. A combination of education and experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the duties, responsibilities and competencies of the Senior System Integrator may substitute for qualifications listed.
