A day in the life...

Nordstrom is looking for a Senior Program Manager of Inventory. Inventory is our largest investment as a company, and this individual will play a pivotal role - operating at the intersection of our Merchandising and Supply Chain teams. Their focus will be on driving the development of reporting and analytics resources to optimize initial and secondary inventory placement decisions in alignment with JWN strategies and financial goals.

This individual will

• Collaborate with team of Data Analysts by translating business requirements to clear actionable intake, support sizing work, supporting portfolio management in JIRA and tracking on time releases.

• Serve up analytics insights and scenario models to down pyramid leadership to influence strategy decisions.

• Communicate with Program Managers across the Inventory team to drive alignment and collaboration where initiatives cross over multiple stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Analytics teams across the organization to foster consistent approaches and streamline processes, ultimately enhancing efficiency.

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams using clear communication, focusing on shared goals, and leveraging data insights to drive product success.

The ideal candidate is motivated, proactive and results-oriented. This individual has a unique blend of strategic, analytic and collaboration skills with demonstrated experience in strategy implementation. The individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, engaging stakeholders in a productive, positive way and setting the course for the business to help drive Nordstrom growth.

You own this if you have…

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

• Strategic expertise in consumer-focused companies/industries (e.g. retail, fashion, consumer products, e-commerce)

• Experience in Inventory Management and/or retail Supply Chain is preferred

• Strong business skills and familiarity with retail analytics

• Ability to collect data, establish facts, assess results, and draw sound conclusions

• Adept at developing storylines, presenting information, and communicating across all levels of the organization

• Track record of thought leadership and collaborative problem solving of complex business issues

• Demonstrated success in strategy development and execution - ability to work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution

• Proven ability to build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership

• Adept at prioritizing and planning multi-stakeholder initiatives, providing direction when needed and removing obstacles to get work done

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of SQL, JIRA and Tableau

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $103,500 - $175,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
